SUMMARY:108 Sun Salutations + Summer Solstice Event
DESCRIPTION:Join Tiffany Dinwiddie for 108 Sun Salutations. A ritual of movement for the changing of seasons. Why 108? Rooted in yogic tradition\, 108 represents completion\, renewal\, and connection\, and this moving meditation is often practiced during seasonal transitions as a way to reset body\, mind\, and intention. Together\, we will move through 108 Sun Salutations using breath and repetition to build heat\, focus\, and presence. Sun Salutes will be offered in 9 sets of 12 with a moment to pause. Modifications will be offered and students are encouraged to move at their own pace and take breaks as needed. As students complete\, they are invited into self-guided restorative and Yin postures to rest\, recover\, and integrate. What makes this practice so special is not the number\, but the shared energy in the room\, the collective rhythm of movement\, effort\, and release. Whether you complete all 108 or simply move with intention for part of the journey\, you will be part of a grounding\, energizing experience that marks the shift into summer with clarity and connection. \nThe practice will take about an hour then a Summer Solstice celebration will follow with refreshments and nourishing bites. DESCRIPTION:Sunday night is a threshold: The week behind you\, the week ahead\, and a brief window in between where you get to choose how you want to cross it. \nThis intentional pause is designed to help you inhabit that space fully. \nEach session begins with grounding and gentle breathwork to help you downshift\, followed by a guided body scan and an extended\, immersive sound bath using Crystal Tones singing bowls. After the sound\, we’ll slowly reintegrate into our bodies and the space with optional and intuitive movement. \nDuring this hour\, the layered tones and frequencies do the heavy lifting\, guiding your brain and body toward slower\, more restful rhythms without any effort on your part. Come as you are\, get comfortable\, and let the combination of stillness and sound do the rest. \nA few gentle reminders for the most ideal experience: \nComfort is everything: Dress in whatever feels good. PJs are always welcome\, and if you tend to get chilly\, wear or bring an extra layer. \nWhat to bring: Anything that will help you feel comfortable and relaxed for an hour on the floor including pillows\, a blanket\, fuzzy socks\, an eye mask\, and a water bottle. Most seasoned attendees bring a blanket and one or two pillows. If you’re prone to being cold\, you will want to bring a blanket.
